Arrest Nsukwao River Polluters – NADMO


The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the Eastern Region has urged the Police to intensify efforts to arrest culprits who discharged textile waste chemicals into the Nsukwao River in the New Juaben Municipality.

Some unknown persons on Saturday discharged significant quantity of dye chemical waste into the river which joins the Densu River, a major water of source in Ghana.

33 Communities Benefit From Tullow Ghana’s Water Projects


Thirty three communities in the Western Region have been provided with potable drinking water systems to improve upon the health and well being of the people in those areas.

The small town water systems provided by Tullow Ghana Limited to Azuleloenu and other adjoining communities in the Ellembelle district of the Western Region formed part of Tullow’s quest to invest back in its operational area.

President Akufo-Addo Commissions $55m Wa Water Project

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the $55.50 million Wa Water Project, at Jambusie, on Monday, 2nd October, 2017, at the commencement of his 2-day tour of the Upper West Region.

The Water Project, which was constructed with a facility from the Korean Exim Bank, will supply 3.3 million gallons of water per day to the 100,705 residents of Wa.
